On the 4th of July I took my children to Conner Prairie in Fishers Indiana and we ordered and ate snacks from the outside cafe. I had a hummus dip with vegetables that included carrots, broccoli, and cucumbers and a Diet Coke. We did pet the barn animals I think I actually “pat” a goat and that was it and we immediately washed our hands with the warm water and soap that was provided please note that I ate before the barn animal encounter. Fast forward we went downtown to watch fireworks I wasn’t feeling horrible but not myself. After fireworks we stopped at White Castle on Shelby street the kids and I all got chocolate shakes and I ate 2 of my daughters chicken rings and 1 of her mozzarella cheese sticks. I felt off when we got home around midnight then at 4:00a.m. I started vomiting until later that day around 2:00pm.m. on July 5th is when the vomiting stopped. The diarrhea has lasted until this evening with headaches and fatigue. I have a slight fever as my temperature is usually 96.3 and is currently 99.5 with the thermometer that goes under the tongue. I have never been so violently ill in my life and know the food poisoning came from either the cafe at Conner Prairie which I highly suspect or from White Castle which is doubtful because my daughter had the same thing. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Fatigue
