Inspectors found several significant food safety violations during the inspection. Multiple temperature-controlled foods were being held too warm, between 45°F and 53°F, including chicken, cooked noodles, hard-boiled eggs, and burger meat. The manager discarded about 755 pounds of food valued at $5,000. Inspectors also found the walk-in cooler was too warm at 46°F. Citations were issued for these priority violations.Another significant violation involved wastewater backing up from the three-compartment sink onto the floor in a food preparation area, and a citation was issued. Additional issues included missing thermometers in some coolers, crates being used as shelving, soil buildup on equipment throughout the facility, and an expired food allergen training certificate for a certified food manager.
