Food Safety Report - Jon Smith Subs, Boca Raton Florida

3 months ago reported by user-tpjr8397 business

Jon Smith Subs, Florida 7, Boca Raton, FL, USA

20401 Florida 7, Boca Raton, 33498 Florida, United States

On October 16th at around 1pm, I stopped as I have in the past and ordered a 12” sub sandwich with tuna fish. I had them add mayo,, xtra tomatoes, lettuce salt pepper. I also ordered a large order of French fies. This was ordered to go. When I arrived home, I decided to have half the sandwich and figured I’d have the other half of sandwich later that evening. I never had an opportunity to have the other half the sandwich. Around 2 to 3 hours after the first half a sandwich I became deathly ill. And have only started to recover this morning on October 18th. I was threw up violently over 50 times the first day continued to throw up and had diarrhea. There is no question in my mind that this was food poisoning. I was so ill that I packed a bag and placed it at my front door with clothes in it thinking that I would have to call 911 Fire Rescue to transport me to the hospital. It’s only this morning that I have started to feel some better. I became totally dehydrated and weak and couldn’t keep anything down and even as of this morning on the 18th, I have not eaten anything, but just had an Ensure. I have kept the second part of the sandwich just in case I needed to hand it over to someone. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache
