- comments: observed all necessary items not on premises for complying with procedure available on site when employees respond to vomitting or diarrheal events. Instructed to follow written procedure for employees to follow when responding to vomitting or diarrheal events. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005 no citation issued
10. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed improper minimum water temperatures ranging between 52. 0-87. 1f at handwashing sinks in main building first and second floor girl's southeast side washrooms. Instructed a handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100f through a mixing valve or combination faucet. Priority violation 7-38-030(c) no citation issued.
21. Proper hot holding temperatures
- comments: observed hot tcs foods held at improper temperatures ranging between 100. 6-129. 6f. Observed the following hot tcs foods held at improper temperatures, cheese quesadilla(100. 6f), chicken ham and cheese sandwich(129. 6f) and mashed potatoes(128. 8f). Instructed all hot tcs food must be held at 135f or above. Corrected on site manager voluntarily discarded and denatured food valued at $75 weighing 15lbs. Consolidated with violation below priority violation 7-38-005 no citation issued
22. Proper cold holding temperatures
- comments: observed cold tcs foods, held at improper temperatures ranging between 45. 5-59. 9f. Observed cold tcs foods, chicken ham(54. 0-59. 9f) and american cheese slices(45. 5-48. 6f) held at improper temperature. Instructed all cold tcs food must be held at 41f or below. Corrected on site manager voluntarily discarded and denatured food valued at $200 weighing 25lbs. Consolidated with violation above priority violation 7-38-005 no citation issued
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed opening at base of right corner of kitchen rear exit door and observed opening at base of southside right door of modular building 1. Instructed to seal all outer openings to prevent pest entrance.
47. Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used
- comments: observed milk crates used to elevate boxes in walk in freezer. Instructed to provide adequate shelving units to elevate all food and nonfood items at least six inches off of floor for ease of cleanability.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed no cold water pressure at handwashing sink inside preschool classroom 500 in modular building 2 and observed no water pressure at boy's first floor southside right handwashing sink. Instructed to restore water pressure to handwashing sinks in said areas and maintain. (note: boy's washroom there is another properly functioning handwashing sink and in preschool classroom 500 there is hot water pressure at said handwashing sink at proper temperature. )
53. Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, & cleaned
- comments: observed no covered receptacle in all gender employee washroom in kitchen. Instructed to provide covered receptacle in all gender employee washroom in kitchen for sanitary products.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed stained ceiling tiles above prep table on rightside of walk in freezer and observed missing ceiling tiles above shelving unit in dry storage. Instructed to replace all missing and stained ceiling tiles in said areas and maintain.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed non working or dim lights in hood in prep area. Instructed to repair or replace nonworking or dim lights in hood in prep area to increase light intensity.
