Buffet Meal Causes Illness - NOLA Super Buffet, Kenner Louisiana

My son and I ate an early dinner Saturday April 8. He had chicken strips, French fries, macaroni and cheese. Mash potatoes and gravy. The barbecue sauce tasted funny I told him not to eat it. I had some sushi , boiled shrimp, salad, oyster, rice and sesame chicken. The desserts seemed to be under a warming lamp even though they were suppose to be a cold dessert. He threw up immediately leaving the restaurant in the parking lot. Mine came 12 hours later with chills so horrible I thought I was going to die. My sons wanted to call an ambulance I told them it had to be food poisoning. Throwing up, fever, diarrhea. ALL OF it Missed work both my regular and part time job. I did not go to doctor I called the 24 hr nurse line for my insurance. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
