Inspectors found significant food safety violations during the inspection. There was no certified Chicago food manager on site while time- and temperature-controlled foods such as eggs and beef were being prepared or served, and no Chicago food service sanitation certificate was available. Inspectors also observed a food handler putting on gloves without washing hands, handling money with gloved hands, and then preparing food without changing gloves or washing hands. Citations were issued for these significant violations.

Other findings included a front door gap that could allow pests to enter, improper glove use, food handlers without required food handler training certificates, damaged or warped flooring, water-stained ceiling tiles, dirt and debris buildup on floors and around equipment, dust on ceiling tiles and vents, and clutter in the rear area.
