- comments: 2-101. 11//observed no valid city of chicago food service manager and certificate on site. Noted food handlers preparing and handling time and temperature control for safety(tcs) foods (seafood, cooked potatoes, cooked broccoli). Informed person in charge city of chicago original food service certificate must remain posted on site and certified manager on site during tcs food prep, cooking, serving and operating hours. Priority foundation violation 7-38-012. Citation issued.
5. Procedures for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events
- comments: 2-501. 11: **pf** clean-up of vomiting and diarrheal events: a retail food establishment shall have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the retail food establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. Gloves, face masks, disposable mops and other items necessary for complying with the procedures shall be available for employee use at the retail food establishment. Observed no adequate supplies (disposable mop, disposable latex gloves, disposable mask, and adequate sanitizer *must eliminate norovirus*) and clean up procedure on site to properly clean up any vomit or diarrhea events that can potentially occur inside of the food establishment. Instructed to provide adequate supplies for vomit and diarrhea clean up. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005. Citation issued
