Report date: Feb 1, 202410. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed no hot water provided in the staff and student washrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. Management instructed to provide hot water above 100f at all hand washing sinks. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c).
21. Proper hot holding temperatures
- comments: observed corn at 103f inside of the hot holding unit. The premises has no cooking equipment available onsite and was using the hot holding cabinet to cook the corn. Management instructed to maintain all hot tcs foods above 135f. Priority violation 7-38-005.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed approx. 40 mouse droppings and 3 rat droppings in several areas of the school. Approx. 20 mouse droppings and 3 rat droppings were observed on the floor of the dry storage vault located between the kitchen and office, 10 droppings were observed on the floor of classroom 105, and 10 droppings were observed on the floor of the fan room located across from room 223. Management instructed to clean and remove all rodent droppings from all affected areas. Additional pest control service is needed to eliminate the pest activity. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(a).
53. Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, & cleaned
- comments: observed no covered waste receptacles in the female or all-gender washrooms. Management instructed to provide covered waste receptacles in all female washrooms.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed chipped paint on the ceiling above the steam table. Management instructed to scrape and repaint the affected areas.
