Report date: Oct 9, 202510. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed no handwashing signage at the handwashing sinks in the toilet room and the front and rear prep/dishwashing area. Instructed to provide and maintain.
35. Approved thawing methods used
- comments: observed a box of frozen chicken wings being thawed out at room temperature. Instructed to use proper thawing methods and maintain.
37. Food properly labeled; original container
- comments: observed the bulk dry ingredient containers and squirt bottles not labeled. Instructed to label with common food name and maintain.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed front entrance door open throughout entire inspection. Instructed to provide a screen door or keep door closed to ensure facility is pest proof and maintain.
48. Warewashing facilities: installed, maintained & used; test strips
- comments: observed no sanitizer test strip kit on-site at the time of inspection to test concentration of sanitizer in 3 compartment sink. Instructed to have a test strip kit on site at all times to monitor the strength of the sanitizer properly. Priority foundation 7-38-005, citation issued
48. Warewashing facilities: installed, maintained & used; test strips
- comments: observed the sanitizer basin, mechanical sink stopper not working. Instructed to repair or provide an adequate sink stopper and maintain.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed no mop sink on site. Instructed at least 1 service sink or curbed cleaning facility equipped with floor drain a floor drain and shall be provided and conveniently located for cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for disposal of mop water or similar liquid waste.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed broken down cardboard boxes being used throughout facility. Also found cloth rugs and white wall panels being used on the shelves of the hot holding units and the walls behind the cooking equipment. Instructed to remove cardboard boxes, white wall paneling, and rugs to make floors and walls smooth and easily cleanable and maintain.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed the wall at the rear prep/ dishwashing area with sauce splatters on posters and wall. Instructed to clean and maintain.
