Became sick at resort a little over half way through trip. Wife became sick shortly after returning home. Both had same symptoms. She was seen in Emergency Department and had her stool tested and she was positive for Shigella. Absolutely miserable bacterial infection.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache

I suffered a stomach illness at UNICO that started on 7/14 and resulted in an emergency call to the resort doctor who diagnosed me with gastroenteritis. I had been at the resort for 4 days since then and I contracted it there.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Gas

Was at the Cancun airport on Monday and ordered the Turkey sandwich, I ate half and immediately felt off- got sick exactly 12 hours later- vomiting nonstop and diarrhea, could not have any water for another day. Terrible!!!!  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Nausea
