I was in Turks and Caicos from 6/9-17. I didn’t get sick until the last day., I don’t know There was at least 2 other couple who had similar symptoms.

did go to Da Conch Shack but I don’t think it was there… I’m still sick, it’s been almost a week. But the day after I came home I celebrated a birthday for a friend with her and her dad. She turned 50 so I didn’t want to cancel…now they are both sick. She was vomiting too, not just diarrhea and nausea. So I’m not sure what I caught. But I’m avoiding people until I’m better.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea

We visited Turks and Caicos April 16-23. There is no way to be positive but I believe I got the Salmonella I was diagnosed with at The Deckon April 19th. I had a pasta seafood meal. I have been sick for 6 days now. Violently for 3. … See More
I was diagnosed at the Emergency Dept. here at home in Illinois. After reading some other stories I have deemed that place unsanitary and will never return.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

My husband ate the shrimp pasta dish and ended up in the ER that night with dehydration from vomiting and diarrhea that resulted. He began to feel sick shortly after we ate lunch at the restaurant, and it progressed and continued to get worse through the night.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dehydration

To celebrate our honeymoon, my Wife and I visited this location from Dec 12-17. On the night of the 13th, we had our anniversary dinner at this place. We had been there once before and remember having a great time with my family which is why we … See More
returned.

Unfortunately, this time was much different. My wife and I experience food poisoning from either the Tomahawk Ribeye or the Shellfish Platter that we were served to us during our dinner. As a result, this not only affected us physically (we could have been killed) but impacted our whole trip as well. On the day of the 14th, we had planned a boating trip with Caicos Dream Tours which could not be refunded given their 24-hour cancellation policy (roughly $500). In addition, we lost out on 3 days of our trip, and we were bound to our hotel room for most of our Honeymoon (Dec 14-16). When we planned our Honeymoon, my wife and I were anticipating a vacation filled with celebration and excursions. Unfortunately, what we got was sickness and disappointment because of our food poisoning. This restaurant should be shut down until they figure out the root cause of their issues - they can't/shouldn't be allowed to keep putting visitors in danger.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
