My entire family got sick from the food. Watched unsanitary practices in buffet, even watched a worker stand on the countertop with his shoes then place cups on the surface.

Stayed 01/31/24-02/04/24 and came home a day early. My spouse and I have severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and low grade fevers. Suspect it was from the questionable food and handling a the International buffet,

Started February 7th,2023. We noticed that there was a bad sewage smell in the air in many areas of the resort. The water in our room smelled heavily of sulfur and chlorine like they flooded the water to try to kill off bacteria. Our eyes were red

and irritated from showering. Upon entering the buffets there we noticed the yogurt, meats ,cheeses, fruit bowls etc were not on ice on left out all morning/afternoon. The birds and monkeys were seen eating off the buffet as well.
February 8th , I became violently Ill with fever, diarrhea, vomiting, every 30 mins for 24 hrs. I was weak and unable to eat or drink more than a few sips of bottled water that were were forced to buy from the hotel store for $9 u.s. per bottle. We didn't trust their source. My wife spread the news and nearly 30 to 40% said they were sick as well. February 10th my wife became violently ill the same. Our friends at the resort who took Dukerol before coming finally succumbed to the illness on February 11th. People were screaming in the lobby about their illness as well. One man from California told of his family wedding party of 40 who had been there 3 days and had 7 already sick and gone to town to get antibiotics etc I told the manager that there was something seriously wrong with their water system and he said yes and that they had a ruptured sewer pipe. So many people on the social media sites about this hotel complaining of the same for the last few months as well.
