US and Canada - Dole Coleslaw products recalled over Salmonella concerns

Recall notice
The FDA announced a recall of a select number of colorful coleslaw products by Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc. in the US and Loblaw Companies Limited in Canada, as they might be contaminated with Salmonella. The recall initiated after one sample analyzed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) tested positive for Salmonella. No illnesses have been linked to this recall to date.
FDA and CFIA advise consumers not to consume the recalled products and throw them away. The following products were distributed in AB, BC, and SK in Canada; and in AK, CA, ID, MT, NV, OR, and WA in the US.

- Marketside Tri-Color Coleslaw (16 oz). Lot codes: B318005 / B318006. UPC code: 6-81131-38748-4. Use-by date: DEC 04 2019. (US only)
