I was hospitalized after eating a burrito from your Downtown Bellevue location on Saturday December 10th.
My work placed a large (about 20 people) order with that location. The employees individually filled out an order form with what we wanted. I chose the following:
Burrito
White Rice
Chorizo
Fajitas
Cheese
Sour Cream
Corn
Side of chips
The group order was placed with a 12:00pm pickup time. I ate my food around 12:45pm. By around 3pm, I was starting to feel slightly nauseous. It got worse and by about 4:30pm I puked a small amount at first. It then got worse and the second time I puked, my lunch came up, corn and all. I began alternating non-stop between puking and diarrhea for the next 3 hours. I must have puked 10+ times. I tried drinking water, but couldn't hold it down for more than a minute. I became increasingly dehydrated, nauseous, dizzy, had the chills, and then all my muscles began cramping uncontrollably. I was in an insane amount of pain and discomfort.
After it escalated even worse with no end in sight, I was raced to the Emergency Room at Overlake Hospital shortly after 9pm and was diagnosed as having either severe food poisoning or a virus. I had dangerously low blood pressure, was severely dehydrated, and had a fever. They put 3 full bags of fluid thru me via an IV and then moved to oral hydration once I could stomach it. I was discharged from the ER around 2:15am Sunday morning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Cramps, Dehydration, Dizziness, Chills
