Steak Sickness: Nausea, Diarrhea - Costco, Honolulu Hawaii

My first time buying steak from here was last week. I bought a tray of boneless ribeyes on Friday night and cooked it the following day on Saturday afternoon. I don't eat my steak rare or even medium-rare, so I cooked it to my preferred doneness of medium, or maybe just slightly past, it was still tender with a bit of pink in the middle, but not red.Anyway, I thought I cooked it well enough and I have certainly eaten steak like this before without issue(though not their steak, it was my first time buying from them), but after about 3 or 4 hours I started to feel quite nauseous and ended up vomiting. I did feel a bit better after throwing up, but I still had a sour stomach and acid reflux for most of the evening/night, and the following day I had diarrhea.
I believe I cooked it well enough and couldn't tell anything was wrong when I ate it, but I have heard/read that Costco injects their meat with something(not sure what it is and why, maybe it's for taste, appearance, or preservation), but if it's true, I wonder if that may have caused my negative reaction.
I would have thought this was just an aberration, but on Tuesday, two days after initially cooking the steak, I ate some leftover scraps(which were properly refrigerated and reheated), particularly the ends that were definitely cooked through, and I felt sick again. Fortunately, I did not throw up again, but I felt terrible for a few hours, and now I am seriously debating whether to eat the other two steaks that came in the tray which I immediately froze on Saturday after cooking the one steak. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Acid reflux

They blade tenderize their meats. Meaning with small pins. It introduces bacteria inside the meat that normally sits on the outside ready to be killed off. I won’t shop here anymore.
