E. Coli Diagnosis from Enchiladas - El Azteca, Ames Iowa

6 years ago reported by user-vdptj797 business

El Azteca, South Dayton Place, Ames, IA, USA

1520 South Dayton Place, Ames, 50010 Iowa, United States

I ate here on 12/10 @ 5:30pm. Had the chips and salsa, rice, and beef enchiladas that had lettuce. My daughter had rice and a cheese quesadilla. She did not get sick. On 12/10 I started having terrible stomach cramping and diarrhea. Everything I ate went right through me. I missed 2 days of work. Symptoms were still not getting better by 12/20 so I went to the doctor. Blood work done (low potassium from all the diarrhea so now I have to take meds). Stool sample came back positive for E. Coli. 9 days later and I’m still not over it so I am now on antibiotics. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps
