Inspectors found several significant food safety violations during the inspection. A dishwashing machine at the front bar was in use but had no detectable sanitizer in the final rinse, and cold foods were being held above the required temperature, including coleslaw and chicken chili. Management voluntarily discarded about 10 pounds of food valued at $75. A prep cooler was also not maintaining safe cold temperatures while storing foods such as coleslaw and fish. Citations were issued for these violations.Inspectors also found about 25 live small flying insects in the front bar area, overflowing outdoor garbage dumpsters that prevented the lids from closing properly, and debris and standing dirty water in the outdoor waste area. Additional issues included missing handwashing signage in the women's restroom, stained cutting boards, grease and debris on equipment and shelves, moldy wall caulking near the dish machine, and dust buildup on hood filters and ventilation covers. Citations were issued for the pest activity and garbage issues, and the overflowing dumpster issue was corrected on site.
