- comments: observed approximately 8 containers of packaged taffy grapes for sale in the facility from an unknown unapproved source in front display cooler. Also noted about 30 containers of prepackaged spaghetti, tuna, crab, pasta salads and pudding. Person in charge could not provide an invoice for the taffy grapes during inspection. Instructed person in charge to properly label all packaged food items with identity, net weight, ingredients and major allergens listed, business name and address where made and packaged. Manager discarded and denatured items during the inspection. Priority violation. Citation issued 7-38-005

16. Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
- comments: noted top interior of ice machine not clean. Instructed to remove ice, clean and sanitize all surfaces and maintain.

38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed pest control logbook with reports from 3/5/25, 4/5/25 and 7/9/25; no 2026 service reports. All retail food establishments must maintain a log book which shall be kept for a period of twelve (12) months and include a copy of the service tickets and the pest control company's illinois department of public (idph) health license number. Instructed to provide. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(c).
