Footlong Melts Cause Illness - Subway, Edmonton Alberta

January 12 2023 my husband and I decided to get this for lunch. We both got footlong melts with the white cheese. We had all the veggies on it with mayo and sub sauce. Come that evening my husband and I both started to feel sick to our stomach with severe cramping just under our rib cage. It got so bad that it caused me to vomit and also cause diarrhea and nausea. I felt so sick and I was in so much pain that I almost went to the hospital. I was shacking and so dehydrated I could not keep even water inside me. Eventually early that morning the pain started to subside, and I was able to get some sleep finally. Come, the next day still couldn’t eat or drink very much as my insides were still felt unsettled. As for my husband he had the same stomach cramp thing pain under the rib cage, followed by diarrhoea and nausea. This on going pain continued through the night with multiple trips to the washroom throughout the night and going into the morning. I told my brother about our night and he said that this has also happened to him from this location on more than one occasion that he has stop purchasing from there overall. After this experience, my husband and I have also decided to cut this out of our lives because the pain that we went through is not worth it. I hope some thing is done to this location and they get a review because we have been sick on more than one occasion, but this has been the worst. I don’t know if it was from the meat or the veggies for something needs to be done. Stay away from here. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Dehydration
