Onset: 14 hours Duration: Gastro symptoms approximately - 72hrs Nervous system symptoms - 7 days and still persisting I went here for dinner around 5PM and ordered a crispy Salmon sushi roll. One single serving, just five rolls I had fried avocado as well and nothing else. I did not eat at any other restaurant that week and all I ate at home was a smoothie for breakfast that day so I am certain my illness came from here. The next day I woke up in the morning with a headache, nausea, stomach pains, and cramps. My bowel movement was watery, at this point I knew I had food poisoning. I noticed I was getting chills and had a tingling sensation all around my arms and back which is not normal. I also felt very dizzy and lightheaded. Fast forward: the gastro issues subsided after 3 days but the other issues have persisted which are sensitivity to cold, cold hands and feet, sporadic burning and tingling sensations all over my body, abnormally lowered pulse and blood pressure, especially at night and general feeling of illness. I have concluded from these symptoms and the fact that they have not gone away that the food poisoning was likely from a fish toxin known as "Ciguatera" that somehow contaminated the fish they served me. This is not common in Germany but since fish can be imported internationally, it is certainly possible. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Something else, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Lightheaded, Gas
