Intense Nausea, Repeated Vomiting - Taco Bell, Pensacola Florida

1 day ago reported by user-mvxxz992 business

Taco Bell, Airport Boulevard, Pensacola, FL, USA

2011 Airport Boulevard, Pensacola, 32504 Florida, United States

Around 8:00 p.m. this past Friday (01-23-26), I ate the following order: 1 Avacado ranch crispy chicken soft taco 1 Creamy Chipotle crispy chicken soft taco 1 Avocado ranch chicken stacker 1 cheesy double beef burrito I went to bed shortly after. Around 1:00 a.m. I woke up (rarely, if ever, do I wake up before my alarm goes off at 6:00 a.m.) to intense nausea, rushed to the bathroom (thinking I was going to throw up), and dry heaved over the toilet. I went back to bed, mildly concerned about the situation, but not suspecting anything serious (I don't believe I've ever had a prior food borne illness). The next time I woke up (approx. 1:45 a.m.), however, was the beginning of a cycle that went as follows: Waking up every 30-45 minutes Nausea indicative of inevitable vomiting Rushing to the bathroom 4-7 voluminous purges (vomit) Mouthwash Back to bed This cycle lasted through the early morning, until I got out of bed and moved to the couch downstairs - around 9:00 a.m. Around 10:00 a.m., I was still nauseous but felt as though I couldn't have anything left to vomit anyways, so I ventured to the CVS to get some pedialyte. Before I could get inside the store, I vomited (5 full purges*). At that point, I did what any sensible person would do- I grabbed a plastic bag from the self-checkout on the way in the store, and proceeded towards the pedialyte, avoiding people and any sudden movements (or breaths) that might trigger another contraction. I made it home, and spent the rest of the day caught in the middle of a custody battle between the bed, the couch, and the bathroom, the results of which were approximately as follows: Bathroom visits steadily tapered off in frequency Number of purges per visit went down to ~2 Bedroom and couch evenly split down time Around 7:00 p.m. (Saturday), I rushed to the bathroom to discover that I had nothing left to purge- two dry heaves, mouthwash, and back to bed. Since then, I've been laying low, trying to rehydrate and find my appetite- or at least find something I can manage to consume without feeling it coming up before it's even gone down. In all, since I finished eating that Taco Bell on Friday, I have only been able to consume: 3 sips of chicken broth Some blueberries 2 hot dogs (plain) Half cup of chicken noodle soup The nose piece of French bread I'm not sure how much of the pedialyte stayed with me, but I'm steadily drinking water. Currently (8:00 a.m. Tuesday), I still have cramping, soreness (abdomen and lower back), and a persistent headache, but I really need to be able to refuel my body and get back to doing what I'm supposed to be doing. Really, I need to get to doing what I should have been doing the last few days. I'm falling behind on everything, and rebuilding momentum is going to take more energy than bread and some soup will provide. Save me, Tom Cruise! *when I say purges, I mean as much as my body could orally expell from body in one heave. For context, one of these purges had enough volume and velocity to force flush the toilet by itself.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Headache, Soreness
