Ramen food poisoning is a common occurrence. While the boiling broth does kill most bacteria and viruses, some ingredients in ramen added before consumption can be high risk. A soft-boiled egg is common, but undercooked eggs are often linked to salmonella and sprouts are known to spread E. coli.

oil I learned afterwards expired over 2 years ago. About 3-4 hours after eating, I started having stomach pains and nausea. I threw up and have had stomach pain the rest of the day.
