Melting Pot Food Poisoning

It's possible to get food poisoning from fondue. Diarrhea and nausea are the most reported symptoms of The Melting Pot food poisoning. Salmonella is the most commonly reported diagnosis. Raw meats, seafood, and poultry used for fondue can easily be cross-contaminated or undercooked to cause illness.

This occurred a couole of years ago.
Myself, wife and son went to the MP for a birthday dinner. We ate, shrimp, chicken and beef after cooking it in their "stock".

We had a reservation at 7pm. We ordered cheddar cheese fondue, main meat entree and then milk chocolate for dessert. I ate all the types of meat and my friend just stuck to the chicken and didn’t get sick. We left at 9pm and within in the hour I vomited a lot and I rarely get sick.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

The girl friend and I went to the melting pot Thursday to celebrate my birthday. We only had cheese and chocolate fondue, no meats. Friday I felt a little funny and today (Saturday the 30th) I threw up multiple times and the lady has been feeling progressively severe nausea all afternoon.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
