On Friday 12/1/23 at 11:13 am I went to Chipotle for the first time ever with my husband on our Day Date. We wanted to go someplace where we have never gone before to eat lunch. Upon sitting down and beginning to eat, we realized the food... See More was not even heated nor was the cheese dip and the chips were so salty that we were unable to eat them. I ate about a 1/4 of my burrito and my husband ate about 1/3 of his burrito bowl. We left most of the food. It didn’t taste good. By the end of the evening we were sick as dogs! Food poisoning! Why? Why? Why? It’s Sunday morning now when I am writing this. Never again!

We went around 8:17 p.m. on 12/1/23 we ordered chicken bowl white rice w/ side of corn & tomato salsa, chips & queso cheese & 2 soft tortilla. The Rice bowl was extremely warm as well as tortillas we live 10 mins away & ate there. Within... See More in 10-15 mins after my son & I ate the food we got immediate stomach cramps followed by diarrhea, I myself was nauseous for the rest of night, diarrhea subsided after a couple of hours for me, my son had more the stomach cramps & diarrhea. We eat at Chipotle all the time & never got sick. We are going to continue to eat there. I will say this the prep counter was gross the foods were cross contaminating by the way they were preparing it. When one of the employees was preparing food for customer in front of us he accidentally got extra food on the outside container of the guac dish it fell onto counter he then pushed it back into there serving bowl of guacamole, then another employee got sour cream into another side. That's why we only chose the corn & salsa. I realize it gets busy but way too much food cross contamination.
