Lopesan Resort, my wife has become very sick after consuming lobster. She is currently in tears. We went to the clinic inside the hotel this morning, and they sent us to a private hospital owned by the same company that owns the clinic. They wanted to hospitalized
her but we had to children back at he resort. It’s now 2322 and we are considering returning to the ER. We are suppose to leave in three days. We suspect lobster In less than an hour after having dinner, started to experience moderate, then severe generalized body pain, gas, head aches, nausea, and random sharp pain in different parts of the body, and severe body chills. . We went there from 6/20 to 6/25 I became the most sick I have ever been in my life starting around 2 am on 6/26 and just now feeling a little better midday on 6/27. I had uncontrollable vomiting, diarrhea, chills, body aches, weakness, I had to
sleep in the bathroom. I am 54 years old and healthy and can only remember getting this sick maybe one other time in my life. This is the nicest place we have ever been to, I have seen nothing in the states this nice but it wasn’t worth the sickness. I don’t think I will leave the states after this one again.

Diarrhea and extreme bloating after eating/drinking at the resort. Buffets a free for all with everyone’s hands touching every utensil, some people picking food up with their hands, only one hand sanitizer station at entrance. Watery diarrhea for 3 days now, left yesterday. Husband has severe N/V/D
and needed IV fluid.

Within last 48 hours, I believe food poisoning from under cooked calamari at a resort The calamari was consumed at the resort’s Japanese restaurant .

All three of us got diarrhea on our second day. Then one local told me that it is popular for get people poisoning from swimming pools water. We stopped using swimming pools and problem was solved quickly.

Have had diarrhea for 5 days now. Not sure if it’s the food or the ice in the drinks. My wife has been sick as well. Have overheard multiple people complaining about the same thing.

6/18 arrived in Punta Cana by the 3rd day, experiencing loose stool and cramping, by 6/24 bloating n díahreah, 6/25 travel back to Florida gushing stool and cramping severe. Difficult to travel with all these symptoms. Get through customs, and travel 2 1/2 hours to Cape Coral.
Ate at all the restaurants the hotel offered, mainly ate light foods, vegetables, fruits. Everything is obviously cooked and rinsed in water.
I can barely eat, taking Omazapran, Gatorade, water. Crackers and bread is close to a meal and feeling very weak. It was a group of about 30 to 40 people, returning home at least 6 of us had symptoms. I haven’t heard of the rest, but I remain with bad cramps, feeling weak

The company is voluntarily recalling the products and has agreed to broadcast this warning as a precautionary measure.
