The FSAI announced the recall of some batches of in-store bakery products by SuperValu due to the potential presence of a piece of metal.

The recalled products are:
- 4 x apple slice, Best before date: 25/07/21
- 4 x carrot slice, Best before date: 25/07/21
- 4 x chocolate slice, Best before date: 26/07/21
- 4 x Tofee slice, Best before date: 26/07/21
- 4 x Lemon slice, Best before date: 26/07/21
- 4 x Rhubarb & Custard slice, Best before date: 24/07/21
- 4 x Jam & coconut slice, Best before date: 26/07/21
- 3 x chocolate Biscuit slice, Best before date: 27/07/21
- 4 x Brownie slice, Best before date: 26/07/21

These products were sold on four of its stores only: SuperValu Lucan, SuperValu Knocklyon, SuperValu Northside and SuperValu Kilmainham.

Consumers are advised not to eat the recalled products.
