I had ceviche as appetizer at the a la carte restaurant on 11.07.2022 at 18:15.

Next moning I woke up with stomach cramps, diarrhea and nausea and the cramps have increased during the day, while it reduced afterwards but didn’t completely went away at night.

+ I had water and 1.5 glass of white wine.

I had to waste the whole day in the room in pain.

I called the reception twice, but each time the call dropped after they told me to hold the line.

If the pain doesn’t go away tomorrow, I will contact my insurance and go to a hospital.

My spouse ate the food at the resort's buffet and restaurant. I restricted my eating and stuck with a little bread and coffee. The night before we left he fell ill. Upon arriving home in the States; we immediately went to the ER as I thought his breathing was erratic and he was still very ill. The doctors examine samples of his stool and blood. His diagnosis was a bacterial infection caused by Listeria. This bacteria grows in meats, fish, vegetables and poultry that is not refrigerated and maintained properly.
