Lee Garden in Dededo is closed after health inspectors found live and dead cockroaches during a Wednesday inspection. Inspectors did observe eight live and 16 dead cockroaches in the establishment, the report states.

"Based on observations and evidence, it appears that there is an active cockroach infestation in the establishment which constitutes an imminent health hazard," the report states.

not held food or water down since (it is 11pm now same day). Its alarming and I was worried because Im currently pregnant and it went from possibly pregnancy symptoms to full blown food poisoning once I went to ER after 15 times throwing up and spiking a 102.1 fever. Dined in on 102318 around 600pm. 4 guests all had different dishes rice chicken fish etc.Common dish between 2 people who got sick the following morning (230am) was the chicken chowder. My wife and I both have vomiting diarrhea fever and headaches. We did not have any other dish afterwards.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache

A sanitary permit was revoked for Benii Japanese Restaurant in Upper Tumon after inspectors from the Department of Public Health and Social Services Division of Environmental Health found multiple health code and sanitation violations.

Employees were not aware of the employee health policy.
Employees were observed washing their hands in the food preparation sink, or washing their hands without soap.
Multiple food items were left uncovered on table tops and inside chillers.
Utensils were observed being rinsed with water and not washed with soap or sanitized.
Multiple potentially hazardous goods did not meet required proper cold holding temperatures.
Food products and buckets of sauces were placed directly on the floor of the walk-in chiller.
Inspectors also noted the grease trap was not adequately maintained and wastewater from hand-wash sinks and ware washing sinks were draining directly to the floor.
