Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Home Delivery Meals

Metabolic Meals, a home delivery meal service, is at the center of a multistate Salmonella outbreak affecting 16 individuals across 10 states (Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin in the United States). The outbreak has resulted in seven hospitalizations but no deaths. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health officials are actively investigating the source of the contamination.The outbreak has been traced to specific meals delivered by Metabolic Meals during the week of July 28, 2025.
