Chicken is associated with more food poisoning outbreaks than any other food according to research by the CDC. Campylobacter and Salmonella bacteria are commonly associated with chicken. Symptoms from the different bacteria can be similar and range from mild to severe including diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting
