Oysters are one of the highest risk food poisoning items you can eat. Oysters are filter feeders and are usually eaten raw, so any environmental issues get passed directly on to diners. Oyster food poisoning is typically associated with vibrio and reports have been received from all coasts.

This happen to my husband a few years ago (our one and only time eating there) and he was hospitalized. Galveston county health department went in to investigate and found bags of oysters stored off temperature. Also, they were served with just a few pieces of ice on the plate allowing them to become even more off temp before serving. The place is a hole in the wall. I would not recommend it to anyone. Hope you feel better.

On 10/29/22 our party of 3 had dinner at this location. We shared a dozen oysters. The only item we shared were the oysters. On 10/30/22 all 3 of us experienced SEVERE diarrhea and vomiting. I personally lost the entire night's sleep, getting out of bed 6... See More times to vomit and many more times for the diarrhea. The only food item that was shared was the oysters. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fatigue, Stomach Pain, Soreness See Less
