Ramen food poisoning is a common occurrence. While the boiling broth does kill most bacteria and viruses, some ingredients in ramen added before consumption can be high risk. A soft-boiled egg is common, but undercooked eggs are often linked to salmonella and sprouts are known to spread E. coli.
