We have been buying FairLife for years without issue. Beginning of November we started noticing an odd smell coming from the FairLife but my husband tasted it and thought it didn't taste spoiled so they still drank it - every bottle we have purchased since has had
the same odor and my husband and son have both had on and off cramping and diahrrea (we assumed my son was getting some lactose from other foods since it was intermittent and not consistent). We started purchasing a different brand 2 weeks ago and all symptoms went away.
FYI - Last week I went to Wegmans and all of the FL milk was empty but I saw some in their stock in back so I asked the employee why it wasn't stocked - She told me they are anticipating a recall so they didn't want to sell any more for the time being.
My son had bloodwork done in November for an unrelated reason and they told us his liver enzymes were elevated but they weren't sure why. I would have never attributed it to the milk until I see everyone's comments about their enzymes being elevated.
. Also purchased some from Walmart in North Tonawanda, NY | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps
