I regularly get these and have never had an issue. Today, however, when I put a gummy in my mouth, something was off. The texture was wrong when I bit down on it. It felt rubbery and tasted horrible. I quickly spit it out and the gummy bear had a thick rubber like coating around it that I've never seen on anything like this before. It hurt when I chewed on it and it was very hard in the center like something was inside of it. It had a rubber like smell to it as well. It looks almost as if a piece of machinery or a moulding came lose and ended up in the candy. I didn't realize a small piece had stuck inside my mouth after spitting it out. When I breathed in, the piece became stuck in the back of my throat and I had to manually use my finger to dislodge it so I wouldn't continue to choke on it. My children and I split two Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese Griddles 11/26/23 @4pm, I bought them from Wegmans. My daughter and I had SEVERE cramping in our stomachs about 30min later and still do it's 9p. I want to curl up in the fetal position and puke. I ate one Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant sandwiches for breakfast on Monday. I began to vomit profusely by mid day, diarrhea started Monday and is stopping Wednesday, cramping~~very uneasy..
