I recently purchased a bag of Black Forest Organic Gummy Bears. I get them all the time. But this time there was a big problem with one of the gummies in the bag. I was eating a few gummy bears from a package of organic gummy bears.

I regularly get these and have never had an issue. Today, however, when I put a gummy in my mouth, something was off. The texture was wrong when I bit down on it. It felt rubbery and tasted horrible. I quickly spit it out and the gummy bear had a thick rubber like coating around it that I've never seen on anything like this before. It hurt when I chewed on it and it was very hard in the center like something was inside of it. It had a rubber like smell to it as well. It looks almost as if a piece of machinery or a moulding came lose and ended up in the candy. I didn't realize a small piece had stuck inside my mouth after spitting it out. When I breathed in, the piece became stuck in the back of my throat and I had to manually use my finger to dislodge it so I wouldn't continue to choke on it. I purchased Chex mix as always from here and I'm not sure what has changed about them, but this bag made my tongue swell up, mouth itch, and it had my throat closing up. I got chex mix from Target, no problem. Got it from here again

and sure enough same thing. Something in the formulary must have changed. I suspect they are cutting corners to make it cheaper for them to make and get the same profits. Whatever they did, there is no new declared allergens and whatever they added is downright dangerous for many of us.

bad. It's shocking because she opened a brand new pack of turkey right there Infront of me. But they did also have the cucumbers not in cold storage and they were just sitting ontop of the veggie stand against the plexiglass. The oil also tastes severely off. Like it's rancid. The bread is also very irony and has a metallic taste to it. Overall the taste of everything is gross. And I didn't realize it, but the last clump of turkey in the tub before she opened the new pack she also put on the sub. That is what was in my first bites. It's gone bad like it was sitting out way too long and not properly being cooled. The sweet peppers are also slimy, and the olives are basically pruned like they've been sitting out exposed all day long without being properly cooled. The lettuce also had a weird sliminess to it too which I've never experienced from their sub before. But I'm also now sick to my stomach within a half hour of eating it. It's a shame because like I said I usually love these subs. I'm not sure what to do about it. You may want to have your cooling over there checked and retrain the staff on propper food handling, cooling, storage, and prep work.

Apparently I'm not the only one to have this issue with the product recently. Others have reported issues with the cheese pierogi from them having mold as well and early spoilage.
