assumed the first was just a stomach bug - but it is clear that the food is causing the poisoning symptoms). I was fine before eating both times.

I eat my cereal dry. April 14 th I had dry Lucky charms with my coffee for breakfast. Through the day my stomach made noises. I really didn’t have pain more of an ache, similar to menstrual cramps. Then I started to have non stop diarrhea. There
was nothing I could eat or drink that didn’t go right through me. Friday evening I again had the dry cereal thinking this would be easy on my belly issues. That did not happen, again non stop diarrhea and ache feeling. The urge to go came on very quickly, through the night. Saturday I did not have dry cereal, tried ginger ale and again right through. I had not eaten any solid food. I can not count the number of times I ran to the bathroom. Easter Sunday, Tried toast again Still everything ran right through me to where there was nothing left to empty. I tired crackers at dinner 15 mins running to the bathroom, i avoided eating and just took small sips of water for the rest of Sunday with moments of diarrhea. Not much left but still the quick onset of the urge to go. Monday the 18th. Still had 2 bathroom urges. I did take Pepto Sunday morning after first episode. I have not had any Lucky Charms since Friday

Had company this afternoon so I ordered some pizza from this store. When I got the food home, I noticed that in the medium mushroom and onion pizza, there was a large sliver of cardboard in it. Within 2 hours of consuming, myself and my mother both
developed stomach cramps, nauseated all day, and my mother did attempt to vomit. My child wasn't as bad, but had cramping occasionally throughout the day as well. I will be calling the store in the morning and reporting this.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Nordest Butchery, has issued a recall for several of their products due to undeclared allergens. The products, which contain soy, sulphites, peanuts, or tree nuts, were sold without proper allergen labeling. The issue was discovered during
routine inspections by MAPAQ. The products were sold at Nordest Butchery, its boutique at the Jean-Talon market located at 7070 Henri Julien Avenue, Montreal, QC, Canada, and potentially through the Lufa Farms website. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.
The recalled products include "Honey and Garlic Chicken Wings" (containing soy), "Korean Style Marinade Beef Strips" and "Korean Style Marinade Chicken Strips" (containing sulphites), and "Meatloaf" (potentially containing soy, peanuts, and tree nuts). These items were sold in unitary format, and all batches lacking allergen information are subject to recall. The products were vacuum-packed in transparent plastic pouches and sold frozen.
Do not consume recalled products that you are allergic or sensitive to, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction; and do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. We recommend returning it to the store where it was purchased.

I ate these fairly often for months with no issues, but I had some last night and woke up with diarrhea so severe I was contemplating calling an ambulance. I was feverish, nauseous, had chills, my toes were going numb. I've eliminated just about everything by now
and I still have abdominal cramps similar to my period as well as bad lower back pain. I love the taste, but now I'm scared to eat it ever again. I feel like I got a bad flu overnight.

Boucherie Les Saules inc., located at 2070 Boulevard Masson, Québec City, QC, Canada, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has issued a recall for its Taouk brand vegetable and mushroom and sesame soups. The recall is due to improper storage methods that could
potentially lead to the growth of Clostridium botulinum bacteria. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.
The recalled products are
- Mushrooms & sesame (750 ml)
- Vegetables (750 ml)
The products were sold until April 23, 2024, and were packaged in glass jars with black metal lids. They were sold at room temperature at the establishment mentioned above. The products are not showing any signs of spoilage or suspicious odor.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased. Products could be contaminated with the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. Foods contaminated with the toxin of this bacterium when ingested can cause the following symptoms: facial paralysis, non-reactive or fixed pupils, difficulty swallowing, drooping eyelids, etc, impaired vision and speech. In severe cases, the disease can cause death.
In case you experienced Botulism symptoms, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
