Raw milk Goat Cheese recalled due to Listeria

In a voluntary recall, the brands Le Cabrou de l'Aubrac and La Rode are recalling their raw milk goat cheese products. The recall was initiated by GAEC RODIER Gaec Rodier. The recall was initiated due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, the bacterium responsible for listeriosis. They were distributed throughout France by Distrisud France Frais Auvergne Sud Fromages, Jean Noel fromages de France, and Sofrose.

The affected products are:
- Brands "Le Cabrou de l'Aubrac" and "La Rode"
- Sold between October 15, 2023, and May 25, 2024.
- The products in question are to be kept refrigerated
- Having the health mark FR48192011CE.

Consumers are advised not to consume or use the product and to return it to the point of sale or contact the consumer service. The brands are offering exchanges as a form of compensation for the recalled products.
