The liverwurst products were produced between June 11 and July 17, 2024, and have a 44-day shelf life. The products were shipped to retailers with sell by dates ranging from July 25 to August 30, 2024. Other deli meat products produced on June 27, 2024, are also being recalled, including various hams, bologna, beef salami, and bacon.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and retailers not to sell these products with the referenced sell by dates. These products should be returned to the place of purchase.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
