Food Safety Report: Chipotle Mexican Grill, Old Saint Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL, USA.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Old Saint Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL, USA

13920 Old Saint Augustine Road, Jacksonville, 32258 Florida, United States

Fiancé and I ate here yesterday at around 1:40 PM. My fiancé has a burrito bowl with white rice, black beans, chicken, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. I had burrito bowl as well with white rice, steak, chicken, fresh salsa, corn salsa, hot sauce, and cheese. Around 9:30 PM my fiancé experiences stomach cramping followed by multiple bouts of diarrhea and vomited at 2:30 AM. The rest of the night was much the same with another episode of vomiting at 4:30 AM. I, however. Have not experienced any stomach issues. Judging by the timing and severity I am inclined to believe that either the black beans, lettuce, or sour cream were not to food code standards. This did start for him within six hours of eating the food and he was not experiencing any GI issues before eating here.

Although I would see Chipotle as the culprit due to their continued lack of food safety culture (refuse to eat there) it was probably too soon of an onset to be the cause of the illness. What did you eat the day before and the day before that, more likely to be the source.
