We ate tuna tartare and seared scallops. In the kitchen best practices were observed. tuna seemed very fresh and was rinsed under cold water patted dry with clean paper towels and sliced on a meticulously clean board and placed in the refrigerator, then combined with clean fresh ingredients including fresh parsley, jarrred clabrian chili, yuzu koshu, and pistachio. Scallops were seared hard and basted with butter, flipped and lightly seared on the other side... served with polenta and maitake mushroom which was also fromTen Ichi. one hour later my wife is vomiting and diarrhea simultaneously and I am feeling very bloated. Follow up, activated charcoal seems to have helped. We survived.
