UCF Students Report Illness - Steak 'n Shake, Orlando Florida

2 years ago reported by user-xgkr9321 business

Steak 'n Shake, University of Central Florida, Pegasus Drive, Orlando, FL, USA

12715 Pegasus Drive, Orlando, 32816 Florida, United States

After returning from spring break, One of my friends and I ate at this location and we both experienced similar symptoms of fever, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and frequent bowel movements. On Tuesday my friend had a garlic double with fries and on Thursday they had a bacon double with fries. Neither burger had any toppings apart from the cheese and garlic butter they came with. I also had a bacon double with fries on Thursday with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and pickle. The symptoms did not manifest in any of these until the next morning. The symptoms from Tuesday's meal lasted all day Wednesday, and My friend's symptoms from Thursday lasted until around 11:00 on Friday. My symptoms from Thursday lasted until around 3:00 on Friday. Another friend of ours experienced something similar this semester before break. We are looking for any information from other UCF Students who have experienced anything similar in the week after spring break. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Something else, Fever
