Baja Sauce Concerns Raised - Subway, Grinnell Iowa

1102 West Street, Grinnell, 50112 Iowa, United States

2/7/22 6:15PM— I order a Tomato and basil wrap, with pepperoni, American cheese, provolone cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, onion and the new Baja Chipotle Sauce.
8:30-9PM I eat my wrap
9:45- I want to bed
11PM- suddenly awoke with a diarrhea mess & nauseous, cleaned up, went back to bed
12:15AM-woke a 2nd the same as previous
1:30- woke a 3rd time as previously
3:30- woke a forth
5:30AM - woke suddenly & made it to the toilet. At this point I just stayed up.
6:30am- I work from home & clock in for work.
10:30am-during my break, I called the food place & talked to them. Told her I believe I had gotten food poisoning & would like to speak to a manager. I could hear her ask someone in the back I want to talk to a manager & if they wanted to talk to me. I heard the person in the background say”no”. She came back on the phone & said there was nothing she could do & that I would have to call Wednesday & talk to the manager. I then proceeded to tell her what I had order & that I was more concerned with someone else eating the same food items I did. Again she said there was “there is nothing I can do” & I have to talk to the manager about tomorrow’s. I said that’s fine but I was more worried about other customers eating the same food as I did. She told me that couldn’t happen & that everything was fresh each day. Know I would get no where with her & hung up wondering, “Do they throw out all food items left over at the end of each day?”. The answer is “NO”. The only thing thrown out at the end of every day are the cookies.
It is a very good thing I work from home & close to the bathroom.
It is now 5:15pm- stomach gurgling drinking plenty of water & afraid to eat anything.& thee is nothing I can do but let it run its course through through my system. Ughhh. What bothers me the most is that the
their employee seemed to have no concerns or regards to my food poisoning or fir the potential food poisoning of other customers for that fact. & isn’t there a immediate response/procedure that should take if food poisoning is reported?

This part is a little of course but….
How do I know it is not covid or the flu? I had stopped at here after going to the doctor & getting tested for covid/ flu. With symptoms of body aches & headache. Since I finish my cancer treatments January 2021. I am now on meds that give me same symptoms/side effects as covid or flu. This morning I got Negative results back for covid or flu. So yesterday my side effects were more server then my normal day of the side effects. I had just spend the weekend at a dance recital & wrestling tournament & was in close contact with my kids & grandkids . That includes a 1 & a half year old. So feeling worse then normal prompts me to get tested. As I worry not being able to tell if it’s covid or the side effect from my cancer meds.

So this boils down to (pardon my words) me shi**ing myself 4 times during the night & feeling nauseous. Starting a couple hours after eat here.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Headache, Body Ache
