in July 2018, we were there and 7 out of 8 of us got diarrhea and some vomiting while at the resort. No one had to go to the hospital but several had to see their doctor and were diagnosed as a bacterial infection and given antibiotics.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea

Fell ill last 3 days of trip. Saw doctor at the resort (roughly $500 USD), he took a shotgun approach - said it could be salmonella, parasite, or extreme dehydration. Was able to make it back to the US where I visited my physician, did a stool sample, and confirm that it was salmonella.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Dehydration
