7/19/23 Either fresh cherries (most likely) or fresh strawberries purchased and consumed that day at grocery store. Bought fresh cherries and strawberries. When I got home, I consumed about 15 cherries and one strawberry. Within 2 to 3 hours I began experiencing nausea and abdominal bloating. Soon... See More diarrhea began and progressed to watery, explosive bouts lasting through the night. At the end it was watery liquid containing cherry skins. Muscles began cramping all over body due to electrolyte imbalance. I began taking in electrolyte solution, which has helped with muscle cramping. Diarrhea stopped once the gut was empty early this morning. I am left today with severe body aches all over and fatigue. Did you wash the fruit before consuming it? Fresh fruits are sometimes covered in chemicals including fertilizer and pesticides that can cause illness and mimic the symptoms of Salmonella / food poinoning.
