Cinnamon rolls can be contaminated with harmful pathogens such as E.coli and Salmonella. These pathogens are killed during the cooking process, which is why it is important to not consume raw dough. Salmonella and E.coli infections occur 6-72 hours after consumption and are often characterized by nausea and diarrhea.
