After eating 3 Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies, I instantly felt nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. I am not allergic to peanuts and I am wondering if the chocolate or some chemical in the processing has something do do with it. I'm now wondering why the cookies are … See More
fuzzy. That doesn't seem natural. I have low tolerance to noxious chemicals (MTHFR) so what noxious chemical did I just consume? Barcode on this product: 076677100145 Update: I realize it was the tbhq preservative in Famos Amos cookies that made me sick. I was fine before eating. It caused me to be dizzy, extreme nausea and diarrhea. I am double heterozygous for the MTHFR gene but many people have chemical sensitivity and don't know they have those genes. I don't think the amount of tbhq in this product is safe for a percentage of the human population.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Dizziness

Harbourfront Walk, 7-Eleven, Vivocity, Singapore

Hi, I bought 3 pcs of Famous Amos Chocolate chip cookies on 17 Jan 2019 between 10am-11am. The company that I'm working for is in the same building (level 10) so i normally get my breakfast from this store. After consuming the 1st packet on (17 Jan … See More
2019), a few hours later, i'm having headache, diarrhea and the feeling of wanting to vomit. I also had muscle aches. I ignored it and just took home medicine to minimize the symptoms. Then on (Monday 21 Jan 2019), I wanted to eat the Famous Amos cookie again so i took 1 packet and opened but only to find out that there were maggots inside. It's not a lot, but there were a few so it's not very noticeable if you're not careful enough. The package is totally sealed so I suspect those maggots were already there since I purchased it. At that point, I realized this cookies could be the culprit of my sickness. I have reported this issue to 7-Eleven but they were asking me for receipt of purchase. Actually, they can just check their CCTV based on the date and time of my purchase but they never did it. I showed to them the video of my cookie with the maggot but they didn't seem concerned at all. I contacted Famous Amos Singapore through facebook but they mentioned that they do not handle any pre-packaged products sold in supermarkets or convenience store. I hope 7-Eleven would at least do something to prevent other consumers from ingesting this contaminated cookie. Probably not everything, but better check. I have photos and video on the cookie with the maggot should they need proof.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Muscle Pain

Smoothie King, Rand Road, Palatine, IL, USA

I ordered a Vegan Nutty Super Grain on 4/9. After finishing the 40 ounces, a few hours later, I became deathly ill (throwing up/diarrhea at the same time). While I was drinking the smoothie, it didn't taste right - for example, the peanut butter didn't really taste … See More
like peanuts. The throwing up lasted for over 24 hours, and also consisted of diarrhea. My wife ordered a smoothie from the same Smoothie king on on 4/5 (Vegan Mocha Cold Brew) - and only drank half of her 32 ounce smoothie - because it didn't taste right. She also threw up horribly for 12 hours, and then had a fever after. I will NOT be going back to this location, or any other smoothie king location. My wife and I called over TWICE - to the store and corporate, and they could care less. We're still waiting for the call back from Smoothie King (which won't happen, as they just say that). NOT trying to get anything out of this, except warning others they'll get sick if they order from this location. You messed up Smoothie king, I was spending $50 per week, which will now be $0.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
