Oysters Food Poisoning

Oysters Food Poisoning

Oysters are one of the highest risk food poisoning items you can eat. Oysters are filter feeders and are usually eaten raw, so any environmental issues get passed directly on to diners. Oyster food poisoning is typically associated with vibrio and reports have been received from all coasts.

as oysters. We shared no food the next day, so it had to be that meal unfortunately. UPDATE: We strongly suspect that it was Vibrio from the oysters. The vomiting and diarrhea lasted for a day and the nausea for another. Coincidentally, I told my barber where I was going the day of the meal in question and she said that she got food poisoning from there when the place used to be a Bonefish Grill, which leads me to believe that they might have a kitchen equipment issue, such as storage temperatures, that someone should check.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

oysters didn't seem fresh, I had two and couldn't have anymore as it didn't seem right. My friend doesn't eat raw oysters so she didn't get ill.

It was disappointing as at the Fish market, we expect things to be extra fresh.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea
