Food poisoning reports for Cheerios breakfast cereal started to trend in Q1 2022 . Iwaspoisoned now has reports of over 360 persons reported sick citing Cheerios. If you got sick after eating Cheerios we recommend consumers report it, and keep leftover product for testing. We will communicate procedures for testing to everyone who reports their case.

a. M., Dry cherios as a nightly bedtime snack and assumed it was from from almond milk so I quit using it and still got daily headaches and constant dehydration until I quit them. I presently have 5 large boxes of them for the month ordered before I read about the pesticide and cant give it to wildlife in good concience, was too costly to throw away and positively cant eat something when I am so sensitive to pesticides and defoliants so why cant I get a refund on them?  | Symptoms: Dehydration, Headache

Missed next night of work. Recovering during missed night off I worked again, almost back to 100% by end of shift. Only eat bread, water, milk and bonebroth. Felt really good when I got home took dogs for walk. Ate small bowl of veggie cheerios, in a 30 min felt sick! Woke up feeling like crap and having diarrhea again! Not throwing up yet! It has to be the new box of veggie cheerios! Normal cheerios never gave me any issues. What is going on! After trying to figure it out I searched on line could it be cheerios? No way! Fast forward to a few days ago- had been eating honey but cheerios for about a week. Had them Sat morning + a small salad that afternoon. Then again on Sunday, had cheerios for breakfast. Within 2 hours- had extreme vomiting and diarrhea for the next day. I’m certain it was from the cheerios given I barely ate anything else in 48 hours and it brought back the memory of what happened before. Except this was worse.
