It's possible to get food poisoning from casual restaurants. Commonly reported symptoms of Village Inn food poisoning are diarrhea and nausea. Recently a Village Inn in Pueblo, CO was cited for 10 critical violations including raw meat stored with cooked foods and food held at dangerous temps.

later we go to King Soopers and I end up vomiting at the checkout line. I went home and tried to eat small meals here and there- all were vomited. I couldn't keep anything down for about a day or so. The following Monday my brother and I both eat our pie, and this time, HE gets sick. Ate undercooked (literally still cold/not fully thawed) "fried" fish. I did report to waiter and manager and they comped my meal and I quit eating the cold pieces but within a couple hours had nausea and vomiting. Atm not feeling much better or worse...  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
