Christmas I made a ham purchased at our local Walmart. I purchased it one week before Christmas and put it directly in the freezer. After cooking it when we ate it, it tasted similar to a sour beer. I got a bag of onions that were rotten. I threw away the tainted onions but I cut out all yuck on the ones that were barely touched. Apparently the rotten ran through the whole onion and I didn't see it. I wouldn't purposely buy rotten onions.
